Cat survives five weeks in shipping container

Much though we adore dogs around here, we are interested in stories about other pets. We were quite startled by this tale of Ginger, a cat who sneaked into a shipping container and spent five weeks trapped in it, travelling from Taiwan to the UK.

The resourceful puss survived by lapping up condensation, though he was found thin and starving in a delivery of yarn to a fabric firm in Nottingham.

During his six month stay in quarantine he is now eating and recovering well; we hope a home is found for him as soon as he's ready for it.
