Dogs Trust Shrewsbury Open Day

Dogs Trust Shrewsbury’s Open Day was a fantastic day. It was very well attended with lots of supporters helping us raise “POUNDS for HOUNDS”.
They managed to raise in excess of £7200.00 with donations still coming in!

Big thanks to ….

Defence Helicopter Flying School - for bringing their helicopter, for people to view and for doing a flyover the centre on his departure.
Volunteers - for giving up their time to come along and help us – they are all greatly appreciated.
Trade and Charity stall holders -  who attended and supported our event whilst spreading awareness of their own organisations.
Red Cross & Haygate Vets -  for Human and Doggy first  aid.
Free Radio - for their attendance, PA & commentary and assistance with the dog show judging.
Haygate Vets – for being the sponsorship of the dog show.
HM Prison Service – for their Dog display.
Shrewsbury Fire Service – for attending & supporting our event.
West Mercia Police – for attending & supporting our event.
Raffle Prize donors – all gifts were lovely, and went down well with the winners.
Darren – for being the Dogs Trust Mascot for the day despite the heat !

PAWS UP TO EVERYONE INVOLVED IN MAKING THE DAY A HUGE SUCCESS.

Traders, Vendors, Supporters, Friends & Family and of course not forgetting all our Dogs Trust Staff.
