Dogs Trust West Calder: Basil

Basil here is a very sweet boy who is happy to be left at home for a few hours, house-trained and good in the car. He is a clever boy and knows his basic commands. He is very friendly, affectionate and loyal to those he knows.

Basil is looking for a quiet adult home as he can be a little timid with children and likes to have his own space. Basil is not really comfortable around other dogs, much preferring his own company so would like a home where he can be the only pet and and have lots of long walks in the woods.

Basil is a very loyal lad who, when he knows you will have a friend for life. He will make a wonderful companion!

Stephen and Basil out for his daily walk, making sure everything around the centre grounds is running in order.

Basil with some volunteers from the Postcode Lottery who undertook all aspects of helping in the canine carers in the kennels in the morning. Basil was very much delighted with all the extra attention!

Basil is lots of fun and the staff at the centre are really keen for him to find his forever home soon! For more information please contact Dogs Trust West Calder directly:
