Dogs Trust statement on Shock Collars

Dogs Trust welcomes the announcement that the Welsh Assembly is considering banning the use of electric shock pet collars in Wales. The charity promotes the use of positive reward-based training methods and does not support the use of electric shock collars or any other punishment as part of training under any circumstances. Dogs Trust looks forward to the introduction of a similar ban in the rest of the UK
